Northern CA coast, Llama wool shearing, FINAL RESULTS

Spent the day sketching a local rancher shearing the thick wool coat from her two llamas. These animals are very skittish and are very difficult to hold still during the haircut. Afterward, they seemed happy to be rid of their heavy winter coat and will be cool for the summer. Plus, the rancher has a lot of excellent wool to card and spin. Everyone wins.
