Vu le mauvais temps, on a été obligé d'abandonner notre projet Batobus. Dommage, ce sera pour un autre fois
Après beacoup de déliberation, et une vote bien serré, on a décidé d'aller dessiner l'opéra Palais Garnier
Voici le nouveau programme. Merci de faire passer l'info :
Rdv à 10:00 sur les marches (extérieure) de la façade principale Sud.
Si le temps permet, on peut commencer par dessiner l'extérieure. Pour pouvoir se reperer, je propose qu'on fait le tour du bâtiment dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d'un montre, c.a.d montant la rue Halévy.
On fait le tour et à 13:00 on se retrouve de nouveau sur les marches de la façade principale
13:00 dejeuner à l'Entracte, 1 rue Auber. (Option de s'acheter un sandwich et rester dehors/aller aillleurs pour ceux qui veulent)
14:30 dessins de l'intéreure de l'Opéra
17:00 pot au resto/café L'Opéra situé DANS l'Opéra.
On peut toujours entrer dans l'Opéra quand on veut - on se retrouve à l'intérieure dans l'aprèm en tout cas.

So, the sketch Gods have decided to rain on our Batobus parade
After a pretty intense poll, the majority voted to scrap the entire idea of sketching along the Seine - in favor of taking the SketchCrawl to the Paris opera - Palais Garnier
We'll be meeting on the steps in front of the opera at 10:00am. Weather permitting, we can start by sketching the outside of the building. I'm proposing a lunch break at 13:00, then we can continue sketching inside the building in the afternoon, and wrap up at the restaurant/café inside the opera.
Obviously, if it starts raining at any point, we'll just meet up inside.
Tickets are 9 € to go inside. If you are visiting from out of town, hold on to your ticket stub! For 8 days it will get you a reduced price for the Orsay, Gustave Moreau or the Jean-Jaques Henner Museums, or the National Theater Costume Center (more here)
