Good Drawing Lightpad Recommendations?

Post by kensao » Tue Jun 11, 2019 10:43 am

Does anyone do any sketchcrawling using a drawing lightpad? I'd like to buy a one to have a proper daylight illumination when I sketch in the evening.

I've heard a lot of good things about the Artograph lightbpad LX series. These lightboxes are top quality (bright, evenly lit surface), but I live in Europe and here they are kinda expansive.

I've also read nice reviews about some Chinese lightboxes. They are cheap, but I'd hate to buy a poorly made product.

I'm looking for something reliable that can give me a good illumination, especially on watercolor paper.

Any recommendations?
