Yesterday morning Roberto and I met at the Piazzale degli Uffizi in Firenze, one of the most scenographic places of the historical centre. I had just a little time, so I made only one sketch, for which I chose the brightest side of this spectacular XVI Century street-courtyard: the one facing the river Arno, embellished by a wide loggia attributed to the Florentine Mannerist architect - painter - sculptor Bernardo Buontalenti.
Now I'm looking forward to seeing Rob's sketches...
