Tallahassee Florida USA EVEN MORE NEWER [RESULTS]
Here's Jeff and Dede with wild animals at the city-wide Matinee of the Arts at the Tallahassee Museum. Visitors were invited to sketchcrawl and then we included their artworks in our exhibit of drawings from sketchcrawl 34; Participants today included new members Dan Barnett, Brandi Long, Kylar Simmons and Jennifer Strike; Artist Michele Baudin also wants to join in the fun next crawl. Welcome new members! Saturday, January 21, 2012: The 34th Worldwide Sketchcrawl: Thanks to our international friends for your encouraging comments! I put Mary Sterner Lawson's photo collage of our members at the top here, but have also added some great additional drawings (as they come in) from other wonderful sketchcrawlers like Barbara Psimas and Mary Sterner Lawson. Please scroll down and enjoy!
Our local Sketchcrawl group got together for the 34th International drawing marathon today. The Tallahassee Museum of History and Natural Science, one of our favorite and most inspirational sketchspots, hosted the group--offering free admission and a gallery exhibit of our sketches. Free admission to the park on Jan 29th after 2 pm and Feb 11th all day to anyone who comes to view the exhibit. Thanks Tallahassee Museum!
Participants today included, Jennifer Clinard, Mark Fletcher, Bill Otersen, Barbara Psimas, Mary Sterner Lawson, and our newest member Tim White. Welcome aboard, Tim! Here are two of his amazing and rapid drawings of the pioneer architecture with his micron pen--wish you all could see his wonderful sketchbooks!

Bill .. Excellent loose sketches of the birds and the people in the lunch line. I enjoyed your emu sketch but really loved the vulture. He looks like a mean dude.

Great drawings with a lot of atmosphere. Would be nice to enjoy them (and also the photos) even in a bigger format.

Hi Globesketcher & Bern friends: Thanks for looking at our posts and for your suggestions and encouraging words. I have been to Bern, a great city, so I hope in warmer weather I'll see some familiar scenes in your future sketchcrawls. But your animals are magnificent!
Fritz's frogs, Angela's angelic "Angel" fish, Corina's Flamigas, Martin's lizards; oh too many great darwings to list. I will tell my other friends to check your entire posting. Are you tired of Bears? or wanted to sketch in with the reptiles where it's warmer? (Joke)
Where are the Bears?

Wonderful collection of sketches by your group!!! It looks like a fun location for a sketchcrawl, and the museum sounds so supportive. Some of these, like the one of the candle makers just made me smile. Thanks for sharing these!

Dave,
I'm glad you got the blacksmith reference. Murph said "it ain't rocket surgery" and taught me to throw a tomahawk (he made) properly.
