Phoenix, AZ USA [Results]

Just got back from SketchCrawl 34 at the Phoenix Herpetological Society! PHS is a private facility dedicated to the rescue & rehabilitation of Reptiles as well as training and education. It is actually quite a large facility and is home to zillions of lizards, alligators, Crocs, galapogos tortoises, and every imaginable venemous snake. There are even a few mammals such as wallabes, kinkajous and racoons. We had run of the place for the day and set up folding chairs througout to get sone good sketches. As usual I brought my son who had a productive day. I was a bit distracted but managed a few mediocre sketches.

Had a blast and can not wait till the next one. It was good to see everyone again. More pictures to follow.

Definitly not on my game today. Elvis the Egyption King Cobra however was and put on quite a show for us all day! BTW: I saw some AMAZING sketches by the other participants and can't wait till they post them!

...And some photos! For everyone who thought about coming but didn't make it ... you missed out! Hope we see you at the next crawl. My daughter Amy sketched from ASU and has some to post later. My son's will be forthcoming as well.

Nice work! I especially like the alligator. I love sketching in zoos ... just wish we had one here in my little town.

It's been a long day but I wanted to get these in! Here are two of my sketches, done in pen on site and then colored at home. Thanks again to Craig and the Herp Society for setting this up today, it was an awesome location.

I followed image insertion instructions, but they don't quite match what I see on my computer's finder. Frankly there are better ways to set up this process. Maybe Pacasa images doesn't work on this site without html editing?

Had the best time ever! Thanks Craig for the wonderful time.

Aurora..

Pardon my imposing, but I was able to get your sketch to show up using Enrico's instructions for selecting from blogspot.
I edited your post and added one line of code only and left everything else the same.
Yell at me for meddling if you disapprove :(

A few more photos. I could have spent a lot more time in the snake room!
