13 Mobile artists joined artists around the world in the 33rd international SketchCrawl (our 9th). The Visual Arts Department at the University of South Alabama was home base, and we were treated by chair Jason Guynes to a spread of fruit, cheese and crackers, as well as water and coffee. Faculty member Nikki Schneider, with her son Calvin, acted as host and helped us get started. The day was beautiful - a little warm in the direct sun but perfect where we were set up, under the trees in the Visual Arts Complex courtyard. Most sketchers explored on their own, but a group of four walked the campus together, pausing at three spots to make very quick renderings. Here are some of the results, ranging from drawings of campus landmarks and landscapes to natural objects as tiny as an acorn.

A beautiful display of fine sketches from all.
I am always a sucker for bicycle sketches.. these ones are particularly excellent.
Looks like all of your group had an enjoyable day. Very nice to hear how well you were supported by your hosts.
