Another nice day sketching in Davis, California, this time in the courtyards of downtown Davis. We started at about 10:30 in Mansion Square off of E street, then moved across the road to Orange Court for lunch, then some more sketching in the alleys between E and D Streets. Here are my drawings from today:

I'm not sure what this is. A slice of pork, maybe?

Two fellow sketchers, at lunch. The lady on the left is that size, but I drew the lady on the right a little small, though actually she was leaning down so it's not that far off...

Finally, a little shop of gifts and things called Creme de la Creme.

Looking forward to the next one! Next sketchcrawl in Davis will be November 19, we're holding them monthly.

Excellent sketches, as usual. (I'm following your blog.)
All well done and lots of effort. Where do you 'draw the line' between sketches and illustrations? I usually like to put time into each one myself and as a result only get a few per day. Still, I love the result you get.
ps 'Slice of Pork'... Beauty!

Incredibly detailed sketches, amazing shadows at "Mansion Square" and beautiful colors at "Orange Court".
