Re: Wakefield, England
Hi
We'll be sketchcrawling at The Hepworth Wakefield on Saturday 15th. The gallery is open fro 10am to 5pm.
The Hepworth Wakefield visitor information can be found at http://www.hepworthwakefield.org/visit/
It'll be a great base for sketchcrawl, a fine collection of art work, amazing views over the waterfront from the huge windows and a cafe. If it's fine there are also the grounds and the waterfront area and chantry chapel really close by.
Also The Hepworth Wakefield are kindly providing a photo booth in the Learning Studios to take photos of sketches which I'll post on Wakfield Sketch http://wakefieldsketch.blogspot.com/ and here on SketchCrawl
There are some guidelines for drawing in the galleries to make sure everyone has an enjoyable experience:
Only dry materials are allowed to be used in the gallery, no liquids or pastels, pencil and a sketch pad are ideal to sketch with. If you want to work your sketches up with other materials please use the picnic area in the Learning Studios, where materials are not restricted.
Photography is limited in the galleries and photos can only be taken in Gallery 4 and 5 without the use of flash.
Please visit The Hepworth's What's On pages http://www.hepworthwakefield.org/what-s ... tch-crawl/ for more details.
