On Saturday we had some ten people joined the 32nd Sketchcrawl in different time. It was a nice day. We started from the Ashmolean Museum at around 10am, had lunch together in the Ashmolean basement restaurant, and then went to a Cafe in the Waterstone bookshop for some one hour. In the afternoon we went to riverside for about an hour. Around 4 pm we all arrived at Tim's home (on Botley Road) for BBQ, it was an enjoyable day. Try one image first, more will come…..

Oxford Sketchers..
Most excellent sketches.. Weimin.. you sketch people extremely well. Beautiful work. I like them all but my favourite is the lady at table 5 with the tea. She has such a great pose and expression.
Sounds like your group made a good fun day of it.
I lived for a number of years as a child in Benson, just south of Oxford. My favourite place was the little village of Ewelme. If you get a chance look at the village as a place to sketch.. I have fond memories. I also bought my first bicycle in Oxford.. it was a Raleigh ten-speed in British Racing green,, ah the memories.
Hope to see more sketches from your group soon.
Cheers

Thanks CyberDave for your compliments. Same with you, I love Oxford, and also wish to visit the little village of Ewelme one day, searched images from internet, it’s a charming place.

Thanks Weimin,
Wow didn't you get a lot of work done! Great stuff I love the line and the sure handedness of all your rendering of people who are clearly still but not motionless. Alive with lots of details of place make these real in so many ways. Thanks for sharing more of your drawings. Looking forward to future posts from your sketch crawls!

Weimin - You have amazing skill to capture people's motion with beautiful lines! Nice sketch of Greek vessels' drawings I love Greek stuff and I find resemblance in your line quality.
