Wonderful sketches and photos - so nice to see so many images of the sakura. Even after such terrible events, nature still comes through with her beauty as well!

Maki, thank you for your photo crawl. We have all seen so many images already in the news, but you took these pictures yourself and shared them - it makes all the difference. And reminds us how much still needs to be done. Gambatte!

There are so many favorites it is hard to single them out. I am so glad that we were able to get together like this for a SketchCrawl, and to see all of you drawing in Japan!

Cheers!

Hi Everyone,
This is my first Sketchcrawl! I found this site a couple months ago. I am an American living in Sapporo. I've lived here for a while now, and I will probably live here all my life. I had a fun time doing Sketchcrawl last Saturday! It is still cold here in Sapporo, and we had rain last weekend. Here are my results!

These are some people I saw on the street:

This is the central post-office here in Sapporo (you can also see the train from Sapporo Station):

I saw these women at Mr.Donut, the styles are very different!:

Some women wearing hats:

Here is a pretty woman I saw. You can tell it's still cold here. (I made a fast sketch first, then finished it later because I only saw this woman for a brief time):

This is a woman I saw at a popular sweet shop in Sapporo. She had placed a big order, and was treating the workers as servants:

This is a Yakitori place behind Sapporo Station. It always looks quite inviting at night. ( It was so cold in the evening, so I made a light sketch and finished it later)

I had a good time, and I look forward to the next Sketchcrawl!!!
