I did a few in a small sketchbook, starting with the impressive structure of the RAMA XIII bridge as viewed from the park.
Image

Then of course the Sumane Fort by which I super-imposed the two different sketches on the same spread
Image

At a corner of the park by the water edge, there's a small patch of water park keeping the type of plants that were originally abundunt here and where the name of the area originated from, Bang Lumpoo (ต้นละพู และต้นจาก)
Image

On the street side of the park was a bicycle kiosk with rows of attractive bicycle under the MBA (Metropolitant Bangkok Administration) scheme for visitor to see Bangkok in a greener way. Unfortunately, they are all lock-up to the kiosk and there's no one on sight for me to enquire how to enjoy one!
Turn the other way, the city fort cannon was pointing directly at me, I wonder if that was the reason why the bicycle scheme was unsuccessful!

Beautiful...just lovely....from all of you,
and also from the other Bankok post. So
many sketches... It was thoughtful of some
of you to sketch from a Japanese Garden in
honor of the people in Japan.
