I'm looking forward to joining all of you all over the world for the 30th World Wide Sketchcrawl on the 22nd January, 2011! Anyone wanting to draw in the Gold Coast or Brisbane area?

Hi, I just wanted to add that as you most probably know,in Qld, as we have been affected by severe flooding....perhaps we'll just wait and see if it's better for any of us from this area to just draw from where we are on the 22nd of January! Some of us will be cleaning up or helping friends family and neighbours to clean up....maybe pack a sketchbook for the breaks. I've been an animation student for the last two years and one of our wonderful teachers from SBIT, is at the moment encouraging students via email to draw right now from wherever they are stranded in the floods....so we record our response to this major experience in our personal experience and in our state's history. At the moment it helps emergency response services to not venture where you will get in the way. The same conditions may therefore be in place on the 22nd. Let's play it by ear, and of course priorities will be with helping to clean-up the city were we work and study. Feel free to comment!

We have family who got cut-off, but no damage, the flood stopped two streets away.....Of course everyone is feeling and trying to help out everyone else now.....but it is just amazing to see all the effort going into the clean-ups and rescues!Thanks, hope you have a great day drawing on the 22nd!
