New York City [RESULTS]

Post by sunilo »

In New York we had a group of two. It was too windy for outdoor drawing, so we met up in the Chelsea Market, a warehouse space that was converted into a fun mecca of gourmet food. As a bonus, there were some fun Halloween decorations to draw.

I ended up creating two relatively involved drawings, instead of my usual mess of half completed figures, etc. I'm trying to improve both my reportage abilities and my approach to color. There's still a ways to go, but it's a start!

Sorry the weather didn't cooperate, but you got two nice sketches done. Chelsea Market is always a good source of people and locations. We sketched outdoors in NJ and it was cold!

Sorry the weather didn't help, however it's always nice and inspiring to hear that other sketchers accomplish their own challenges and goals.
Good results & keep sketching!

Regards from Barcelona!

New York City is so full of energy, I loved it when we visited and look forward to going back. You seem to be ready for Halloween.

You found a interesting and challenging location to sketch.
Really nice drawings, different colors and different ambience.
