Austin, Tx (RESULTS)

Postby sketchgurl » Sun Oct 17, 2010 2:55 pm

Hi all,

I went around noon to Downtown Austin to do a Solo Sketchcrawl. It was a beautiful day and there were a lot of people with their pets and kids enjoying the outdoors.

That orange building is not so orange in real life. Unfortunately, I had to make it so ugly because that was the only orange I had in my Derwent set.

After sketching those buildings with hundreds of windows, all I could see in my eyes were windows and windows. So, I crawled away to sketch this swanky Condominium.

Downtown Austin has a lot of bald cypress trees which are slowly changing colors.

Some greenery at last.....
