We brought the new puppy so not too much sketch time but puppy got to see some new turf.


We went to Matanzas Creek Winery on the east side of Santa Rosa to try and find some sun. A couple of deer wandered past so I sketched them in quickly but one ended up on the tree rather than on the ground.



This was a cute small barn and I could sit in the sun to sketch but it quickly got too warm so I moved on to the hillside.

Hi, Your two scenes are pretty. Next time, you can sketch a picture of your pup!

Thank you for the comments. Most of the sketchers do not bring dogs with them but with this new girl it just seemed necessary. I'll add an image to picassa and post it later.
