Hello, folks!
We went to "Rikugien" in Komagome, Tokyo this time.
It's a old Japanese garden that has beautiful scenery of nature.
There were many plants, insects, fishes, turtles, plenty of lives.
Also it means we sketched with fighting against humid and mosquitoes.

These are my sketches.

You choose a beautiful place to draw with so may interesting things - the red umbrell and seat are very visial. Your watercolours are lovely - 4 very different styles- the view of the roof is a great one

Maki-san, your watercolours are very nice! The strong florid colours in your second painting complement each other nicely. I like the little details, and these are different from your other drawing styles I've seen. I hope you and the other sketchers weren't bitten by too many mosquitoes!!

Great sketches Maki!
I've never been to Rikugien. I should really pay it a visit the next time I'm in Tokyo. :)

Hi. お久しぶりです! Thanks so much. I'm glad you noticed I'm trying new style of watercolor. This time, Tokyo had only 2 sketchers. Usual members went to Kanagawa. For the big JAXA feve.

Thankyou so much for your kind comment.

Thanks so much. Rikugien is the one of the popular sightseeng spot for visiters to Japan. I suggest you should go there in spring or autumn. That would be nice flowers or red leaves.
