Vienna, Austria [RESULTS]

Postby m9fred » Sun May 16, 2010 6:47 pm

The merry month of May, sunshine, blooming flowers, ...
and the reality: very heavy rain since last week and uncomfortable chilly wind!
But it could be worse and hey! It's Sketchcrawl again!

This time only two lonesome sketchers showed up at the meeting point and fortunately it doesn't rain this morning. After a short walk in park at Schönbrunn Palace and searching for a location protected from the wind we decided to sketch near the "Roman Ruin".
The wind was quite gusty after we finished our first sketch and it seems that it was starting to rain at the very next moment.

John hurried away and I couldn't overcome the temptation to try some quick sketches of squirrels. These little lively creatures are curious about all what happens in THEIR park and they are sometimes very cheeky so sketchers should look after their erasers and spare pencils!
(If I would leave my sketchbook and pencils to the squirrels they probably will do a better job than I  .)

Hi m9fred!

thank you for placing our pic's on the site
and sorry I've left so early
Your young squirrels are a nice supplement to our old ruins
So we sketched objects aged a few month to more than 1000 years in only 1 day !

Thank you all for your friendly remarks!
And about the squirrels: I wasn't able to draw an individual one because they were constantly moving. But there were numerous squirrels around me to notice their characteristics.
