We had a dozen participants today and gathered at EDO-TOKYO OPEN AIR ARCHITECTURAL MUSEUM: 江戸東京たてもの園.
This was a real must place to go!

Here are my sketches. I arrived there at 3:00 in the afternoon, had just one hour to draw in 江戸東京たてもの園 before we leave there, so I had no chance to wonder around.
江戸東京たてもの園 is certainly a lovely place to visit and there are so many wonderful and well preserved houses there, I'd love to revisit sometime again.
This is what I can manage to draw : an old bus.

Image

This one I drew in ten minutes before heading to the exit.
An upper part of the watchtower.

After leaving the Museum, we went to a restaurant and there we drew each other while having meal or sweets, exchanged sketchbooks to see today's results.

Image

From the restaurant we had a nice view of Musashikoganei station. I kept turning my head around to draw the view since I sat my back face to the window.

I thank everyone for your participation. It was nice to get togather and see new people who have same passion in sketching.
Susi, thanks for sharing these photos!

I enjoyed looking at your sketches,I miss tokyo a lot since I left 2 weeks ago.
kumi: I love the bus, and I don't mind you start only at 3pm, you sketched a lot!
tetsu: I especialy like your sketches in the train.

we just finished the sketchcrawl in barcelona, eating together after visiting some museums. tonight is a free entrance museum night in all europe, so we continue the sketchcrawl until 10pm!!

best, lapin.
