My sketchcrawl was an unmitigated disaster. The two drawings I made were thrown away.
However, I watched the Grey Cup and drew a
comic about my misadventures.

Disaster? I think not.
Too bad about the dog crap, but those sketches are fantastic!

Ohh.. man.. You had it rough, dude.. But I hope you gather the drive to go out there and do it again, because judging from your drawings, there is skill to be squandered.. Anyways, I enjoyed your drawings, and hope to see them again. See ya.

Jeepers S. What a sad tale, as a dog owner, I can assure you that it wasn't my dog's doing. ~.O
Next time eh.

Man, great stuff. Very bold use of brush. Not sketches, actually, but a killer comic. I may be dumb, but didn´t find a link to your actual comics, and I would like to. The black sillouettes remind me of so many great guys I love - Cannif, specially. So show me where your comics are, ok?

...Sweet Fancy Moses.
Given that you were how I found out about SketchCrawl (and had a thoroughly enjoyable time participating), it makes hearing about your misadventures in sketching all the more tragic.
Too bad you don't have a ultra-cool comic book career to fall back on. Oh wait...

Thanks for the sympathies and comments, everyone.
Tom D,
rainboy -- thanks. I didn't want the day to be a total waste.
zironu -- glad you liked the strip... I'll try and keep up with the drawing habit
mugmoni -- I do not hold you accountable, dear. It's all good.
odyr -- glad you liked it. No, not sketches-- my sketches went in the garbage. Where are my comics? uh... besides this one, I guess just about
everywhere.
You might also like
these.
arashikami -- thanks for the support, man. My career may very well be going the way of the dog...

oh, I just read about this one.
Soo bad for the sketchbook...
But the comic is real great! I think that in itself makes it a great sketchcrawl journal!

I might chalk this up to a "happy accident" - that is, something unfortunate that ultimately led to something wonderful - except that, well you were covered in poop.
That's just plain unfortunate.
But the comic is
wonderful.

Haha^^ I've read some of your comics! I frequent a Barnes & Noble during my 9 1/2 hour break between classes, so I grab comics that look interesting and sit down for a read.
But I guess now I'll re-read them, and look for your drawings specifically.

You've experienced my worst nightmare, eeeyikes!
I can't think of anything more traumatic.
Thanx for cranking out the killer comic though.
The sketches that you made of the events from memory are astounding!
