Unfortunately once again we were unable to join the SF group so we sketched at home. We thought to join the folks in Sebastopol but that was not possible.

Hi Gus & Rose!
Great job! Nice to see both your renditions of the calla lily. I had a busy day and couldn't get away either, but I was able to sit down at the kitchen table to do this one little sketch of a daphne.

Went to Jack London Village.
Had a great lunch at the Blue Grass Bar & Grill, then sat out on the patio, painting the patio at Yeti.
Prayer flags and yellow umbrellas in the February sun. What a great way to spend the day!
(OK and a little wine and chocolate my husband, Don, went foraging for...)

Lenore Carrion, Paula Pearce and Kathy Root sketched in Sonoma County on Sunday. There was a light rain so we mostly sketched from the car. When the rain stopped we went to a winery and sketched outside there. We had a lovely day.

How fabulous to be painting in wine country! This sketch crawl never ceases to amaze me for the variety and extent of the locations of the sketchers. Its amazing!
Anyway, lovely sketches of the landscapes, trees and vines stretching into the distance. Great stuff.

What a great location! Looks and sounds like a beautiful place--you certainly captured it in these sketches.
