We started at "Au Bon Pain" cafe at MG Road... There were six participants - myself, Prabha, Murali, Nishita, Arun and Jyotirmoy... It was a hot day so we spent most of the time sketching here... After which we went and sketched a building behing Mayo Hall...
Some of us then visited UB City that is hosting a show of contemporary Indian Art...
Overall it was a day of good fun and art...
Here are my sketches...
in the last photo -- from left to right... Murali, Prabha, me(Rohit), Nishita, Arun, Jyotirmoy(orange kurta)... and Mrs.Jyotirmoy

my sketches. Thanks Rohit and Prabha for keeping this group active
Re: Bangalore India [RESULTS]
The Bangalore SketchCrawl edition began in the heart of this city. With re-construction happening because of the Metro, this place is a work-in-progress. And it was fun sketchcrawling with old friends and new.
See you guys @ the next sketchcrawl

travelingsuep, asnee and quirkyartist - thanks for your comments...
Prabha - nice sketches... I like the detail you got of the cappuccino froth...
Nishita - your sketches are unique as always...
Murali - the sketch of the tall building is a winner... you have got the lines right and made the tower look tall...
Arun - the rendering on the guy in first sketch is simply amazing... looks like he sits in the sun... and you are doing a great job with colours... love the way you captured the shadow in the last sketch...
it was fun sketching as always and look forward to the next crawl...

Hi Bangalore Sketchers,
great result - and impressive number of sketchers (we have just done sketchcrawl #6 in Munich and have been 5-6 sketchers max) !
And I love Nishita's shade - and Arun's people and and ....
I have only been to Bangalore once unfortunately - that was in July so fully understand the shades of all forms and colours in your sketches.
Greetings from Munich,
Karin
