I was looking at some posts while eating breakfast, intending to come back and add comments later, but these were so terrific that I had to stop and comment right away. Your subject matter, your eye for composition, and your brush handling are wonderful. Excellent work!

Hello ZUPZUP,

those sketches are spectacular. Sketches? I think you could call some of them plein-air paintings.

Beautiful paintings! I love the atmosphere and texture you were able to capture with your brushstrokes. Looks like an amazing location.

WOW....thank you everyone for all of the positive feedback, it is sincerely appreciated.
I encourage any of you that have not tried gouache before to give it a go. It is a lot of fun to paint with.

Wow! These are incredible! I love working in gouache, but hadn't thought to use it on a SketchCrawl. Will try that next time. Had to look up Thompson Falls. I see it's right in the mountains. I was up in Coeur D'Alene npot too long ago. Gorgeous country.

Really beautiful. Nice with someone that took the crawl out in mother nature.

MarilynnB - Thank you! Yes indeed, Thompson Falls has not a lot here other than mountains, but a great place to live none the less.

crgcas - Appreciate the comments. Most of these are pretty small.......3"x4" inches, or something around that.

flevolaf - Thanks. Where I live I don't have to crawl very far to be out in nature.

Bibi - Thank you so much! Glad you enjoy these.
