A sketchcrawl of one is still a sketchcrawl, right? I hiked up Fresnal Canyon in the high desert of the Lincoln National Forest to Harris Hollow where the New Mexico Rails-to-Trails Assoc is building a hiking trail past Bridal Veil Falls. The trail is scheduled to be opened on June 5, 2010, as part of National Trails Day events. Today was a cool, high-cloud day (read: not much for shadows) and still. No sounds around me at all except an occasional bird chirping.

The old ranch house at Harris Hollow has been crumbling since the last residents moved away 20 years ago.
