Ikebukuro, Tokyo Japan (Results)

Post by Maki »

Hi, folks!
At first, it was said it would be rain today, however, rain was not much. The weather supported our SketchCrawiling. :D
At the most, there gathered 11 people.

These are our results!!
Image

...And my results are below.
Image
City view from Sunshine buildings.
Image
Shrine with a cat.
Image
Cats are nice to draw
Image
Kumi's portrait and the view from the cafe.

After we sketched around Ikebukuro, few people went to Nakaurawa to see our usual member, HANA's gallery.
It had awesome arts and a party today.
I saw Ukulele singer at the party. Very nice singing.

Hey! Great to see your work from Ikebukuro!
Too bad we couldn't be there with you this time. We didn't even arrange a SketchCrawl here in Oslo today. Too much snow/slush.
Looking forward to see more sketches from Tokyo.
:)

These are all great! And Kumi, I think you did a fantastic job sketching the passengers, even if you say you were "shy" about it. :D

Maki, it's nice to see you organizing the sketchcrawl. Your watercolours are nice, especially the cat! I hope you all had fun. Kumi, I understand your feelings, you know I always draw people so I worry about the same thing :) . But I think if they see your ability they will be impressed, and happy. しんぱいするな。 Tetsu, my friend, I hope you aren't too stressed from work; hopefully you and your family are well. I miss your friendship, and everyone else's too. I'm looking forward to seeing subsequent sketches from the others who attended.

Oh, my! What wonderful sketches! It must be fun to have a large group to sketch with like that. I especially liked Kumi's sketch of Maki, and of the little girl, but all of the sketches shown were wonderful.
