O.k. in the last weeks there have been more and more single SCrawlers - maybe it happens to be one single SCrawl this time. :)

I'm in Norfolk, VA! I am sooo excited about this. Anyone in Norfolk want to crawl together?

Dear Angela, maybe you want to open a thread / topic named "Norfolk, VA", so it's easier for your fellow SCrawlers from VA.

Good to see you around and thanks for joining the fun!

Hi Thorsten, I'll be in Kiel that day running a 10 K and staying with friends in der Naehe von St Peter-Orting. This will be my first crawl and may not make Hamburg but I'll check back to see where the group meet up place is

Hi everyone,

there is no place and time yet, but Sebastian set up a time / group at Facebook today:

http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=315128710019
http://www.facebook.com/p.php?i=1040062 ... 5128710019

Hope one of these links work - I am not down there ;)

So, any places to join in? Some might be freezing, so indoors would be nice.
Anyone else not participating this time: The new dates have been set allready ;)

Hi Thorsten,
hi everyone,

so where can we meet?
I stayed at the Youth Hostel am Stintfang once and from the cafeteria you have a pretty great view over harbour (at the same time it's inside & warm). It's above the metrostation Landungsbrücken.
I'm not sure if the cafeteria is open to people who aren't signed in, though. Shouldn't be a problem, I could call and check that out.

Another nice place to draw is the greenhouse at the Planten un Bloomen (at least if you like to draw plants :) )

Any further suggestions?

Greetings,
Sebastian.

Youth Hostel along the harbourside, splendid, haven't been there yet.

Hej, hope this this time there'll be a group...! How about public transport? On buses, S- and U-Bahn or, ferries?

Yepp, Frau Mayer, how about starting out at the youth hostel (@ Sebastian: Any feedback / allowances already?) and then hopp on a train (or ferry if the weather is better again)?

Argh,
sorry for not replying, I was dead sure I'd get an email when something happens in the forum!

I just called the youth hostel and unfortunately the bistro isn't open before 6 pm.
So this might be a good spot to end the sketchcrawl but not to start it...

I like the ferry-thing!
Lets hope the weather is OK on saturday :)
We could take the ferry around 5 pm and afterwards go to the Youth Hostel.
Drawing in public transport is a good thing, but maybe we should have another static meeting point (bar/cafe/museum etc.) where people can gather beforehand?

Are there any good/inexpensive museums to go to?
When should we meet? Around 1 pm?

Greetings,
Sebastian.
