Not the best day to be doing a crawl.. but we still pulled through!
Rainy day today in Vancouver... Jan, Seth, Jonathan, Leo and I showed up for the crawl today.
Started off in the Netloft on Granville Island, moved to the Public Market, and ended in the student lounge in Emily Carr University.
There were some amazing street musicians in the public market and passers by actually danced to the music!
*imagine river dance in a market.
The lunch rush filled the foodcourt with many still subjects to draw...
pretty good crawl overall. look forward to the next!

some of my sketches (Jan- new watercolor moleskin whoohoo!) starting on the ferry trip across the sea to get into the city from the Sunshine Coast. Great day and really satisfying to meet, sketch and chat with like minded "visual" thinkers.

Great Sketches from Vancouver - I love the watercolor ones and the view from Granville Island !
I have not been to Vancouver for years now - I think I do need to go back urgently ! loved every stay !
(there is an opportunity to take my nephew over to stay with grandma and grandpa for the summer who spend every summer in Canada .... maybe on the way back home there is time for a few days in Vancouver ... need to check....)
Any tips for good and not too expensive B&B or hotel ? with nice sketching motifs around ?
Greeting from Munich

While I love them all, the watercolor ones are my favorite. Love the colors.

Edison!
I always like to see how you aim for the corners and hidden details that normal human being don't notice. And you turn them out to be charming pictures. I like the most how the 1st one turned out with the watercolors
Pointerstudio, you're so analytic! I guess between you and Edison is a contest to the best capturing of the detail
I like the most the open view on the front of the market watching towards downtown. really impressive!
