Sketchcrawl turns 5! Great Crawl. I was amazed of how cold it got as soon as the sun set. Holy crap! Fantastic results from everyone at the end of the day. I can't wait to see more work from everybody!

Unfortunately due to a last minute issue I was not able to arrive until 3pm (around the time that it started to get really cold brrrrrr). I only had the opportunity to do the following sketch.

However the meetup was very enjoyable (even as we were all freezing from the low temperature). It is always so rewarding to see what others have done and also to be able to place online sketches, forum nicknames and faces together.

Happy birthday, sketchcrawl!

As always, the meet-up at then end was way too much fun. I lingered as long as I could, but the freeze won out in the end.

What a great way to spend the day! Beautiful people, beautiful weather and sketching until I got hungry. My husband found a great place to have lunch called Triptych. They show local art, so grabbed some wine and looked at all the work on the walls. You can't get much better than that! Happy anniversary!

Good to see everyone again! nice turnout for the 5th anniversary and clear weather, if a little cold. Here's the MOMA seen from our meeting spot at Yerba Buena Gardens.

And then I had to travel to Sacramento for a housewarming party. Here's a bonus sketch of my sisters from later that night.
