SouthGreenland, Greenland ( RESULTS )
Hello sketcherspeople
I am participating alone from Greenland. This is my first sketchCrawl, I found about this yesterday.
We hadn't any snow yesterday, so I was hoping we had today, and this morning I woke up and it had been snowing
I began pretty late. This is some sketchings from our small village, (Brattahlid). The weather was cold, I was freezing, but had a lot of fun sketching around
This is me, after having tea and bisquits inside the house I sketch.
I was going towards the reconstructions of Erik The Reds Longhouse...
This one I draw from inside the public school (I have a key), coz it was too cold to be drawing outdoor at that point, since the sun was setting. I never managed to go and sketch the reconstructions. Maybe next time I will.
The yellow house next to me, is the one I was sitting on (the stairs) and draw my first sketch. I had a loooot of fun, even though I was all by myself
My aquarell (St. Peters.-pans) kept freezing while I was still painting, but I managed, I just have to put some more water.
I'm already looking forward to participate again next time.
Have a nice day: From Greenland, ~Ninna

Great! Lovely sketches and good dedication! I was getting cheesed off with a little rain, but that's good going.

Hello Snowangel,
nice sketches, while looking at them I wanted to be there in Greenland myself. It reminds me at my year in finland, winter was also terribly cold, a lot of snow, long darkness, but I loved it. Our day here in Salzburg was pretty warm for November and we had beautiful sunshine.
Greetings from the South,
Sandra

Great sketches - I really like the houses. Thanks for sharing your sketchcrawl in the snowy north - it looks so very cold and your watercolours froze!!!!
What time did it start to dark there ??

Nice to see so many people have replied
I started to draw around 2.pm and got home around 4.pm, by then it was getting dark. It was fully dark in ½5 - 5.pm.
I could have started earlier, but it was foggy and grey and more cold (no sunshine) in the morning. So I waited.
I will most definetly participate again next time. I had a really great time yesterday. <3 <3 <3

Neat, crisp sketches; all interesting. You gave it a nice, personal touch with your commentary.

Great sketches!
Each pieces of painting looks like a page of children's picture book.
I like them!

Hi Ninna,
lovely sketches - I really like the bits of colour in the fairly white/snowy areas ! And it must have been really cold - I have spent vacation in the Yukon in winter and would never have dreamed of going out to draw something - whimpy german ; we did not even sketch outside this time because it "only" had about 10-15 degrees celsius (PLUS) outside...
Looking forward to the next sketchcrawl and more impressions from Greenland - Thanks for sharing !
