Perfect!

If the weather is crummy, we can go to the conservatory. In fact, I propose that is where we meet, just inside the main entrance.

10am? Stragglers and lurkers welcome

Bring your own latté, the espresso cart at the Seattle Asian Art Museum is no longer in business. Closest warm-up beverage is on Broadway.

How about St. Ignatius chapel. At Seattle U. It is inside and if we are doing this on Saturday it may be open and there may not be a service going on.
Or what about Fremont by the Fremont bridge. That area has great urban spaces.

All these ideas sound great! Which do you like the best? I think it's a good idea this time of year to have an "indoors" avaiable wherever we go, perhaps even as the meetup spot. At Volunteer Park, are we certain the conservatory will be open? Will there, in fact, be a service at St. Ignacius, and if not, will it be open? I know there will be businesses open in Fremont. Do you have a favorite meetup coffeeshop or cafe if Fremont becomes our destination?

I love the idea of the Conservatory! According to the website, it opens at 10 a.m. on Saturdays. So we could plan to meet inside the entrance at 10 or just after.

They offer tours for $25/group at 11 or 1 p.m. if you book 2 weeks in advance (that means letting them know this weekend). Anybody interested, or are we going to be ready for lunch by 1 p.m.?!?

Gabi, Dave, and Mark have all just emailed the Urban Sketchers Seattle group, voting for the Volunteer Park option. Can we just decide now that we'll meet at the conservatory at 10ish? I will post it on Seattle Plein Air too. Hope this will make everyone happy!

For the future I'd love to visit Seattle U campus too. And always love Fremont!

If the latte cart is gone, shall we bring brown-bag lunches, or plan to meet outside the park for lunch later?
