Orlando [RESULTS]
The Orlando Nighthawks SketchCrawl was attended by about 10 artists late into the night.
My Sketch Crawl began at 8 AM at Rollins College where I sketched a writers workshop about the 7 Challenges of creative writing.
From there I drove to Thornton Lane where a student film was being shot in a quiet suburban backyard.
Then I went to a Full Sail sound stage where another scene was being filmed. Leander, the actress who plays the mystic, gave me the tip on this sketch opportunity.
On the way to the first official SketchCrawl site, I stopped by a Pagan Pride Day Celebration.
The first site where I met the other artists was Sportstown Bar.
Terry met me at Sportstown and then we went to the Social Chameleon for a great dinner.
From the Social Chameleon we all went to the Bull and Bush Bar.
The evening ended for the 5 remaining artists at Pom Pom's where we were kicked out at 2:30 AM to make way for incoming club kids.

wow - so much colour and detail and information - You have so beautifully captured the story of your (very long) day !
Re: Orlando [RESULTS]
My teenage daughter and I started out with the group but after an hour and a half decided to branch out on our own to a location "less smoky."
We decided to enjoy the fresh air and cool evening breeze at Panera Bread on Park Avenue in Winter Park.

Over 18 hours! Thor, that's an amazing sketchcrawl. What's more, you managed to capture loads of character in all of your subjects right up to the end.
Awesome.
Nice work, Pam. I agree with Enrico about the salad. It's quite an achievement to render lettuce with a black pen and still make it look tasty .

Thorsx, you made a gigantic work of story telling and so rich of colors and details, I feel like I can really watch the environment through your eyes!

I took my family to the Nightcrawlers Sketchcrawl (24th Worldwide). We met at the Sportstown bar at around 5:00 p.m. My 4 year-old son, Mark, had this idea of a "sketch festival" that probably was different than it was in reality. Then he was asking us "what's sketching?". I would tell him that it was "drawing something that is in front of you". He drew this:
My wife Karla made a portrait of me. I think her style of drawing/painting is pretty cool, with bold blocks of color and strong shapes. I think she would do awesome with acrylics.
Across the table from us were two sketchers sitting. I couldn't pass the opportunity of sketching people sketching.
Then I also sketched my son sketching. By then he had done very well and was ready for something else. The place had a bunch of board games that him and my wife played while I went to meet some of the artists before leaving.
