PHI -- The sketch of the many kids inside the house is so lovely.

YAE -- Nice sensational lines, they give beautiful life to Thai simple houses. Awesome.

AJARN SUDJIT -- Very nice lines in the Thai cooking equipments and another gorgeous soft style of the portrait of your student. I hope to join your sketching/painting excursion one day ka.

Now. it's time I post my own crawl did at Rahaeng last Sat. I really enjoyed the place, the environment, people who lived there as well as all the sketchers taking part there. It's really so much energy, excitement and purpose! It was a world of different from last crawl at Kudee Cheen.

Some of the images of Rahaeng that I'd love to keep in my memory
Way of life, some things that made life a life
Image

the canal that's the life line of the market and some little things that made the market a market
Image

and all other things that bridge everythings together
Image

The barber chair, farming equipment and people that draw me to draw them!
Image

One of the unique old house nearing the end of market.
Image

My impression of the market, of those flat boards that slope gently touching the canal, a shop house with the huge roof and its distintive ventilation dormer.
Image

and another view along the khlong (canal) with one of its many bridges that keep the both sides of the community as one.
Image

I would like to say "thank you", SketchCrawl No. 24, for being such a wonderful event, that keeps so many Thai sketchers together with a common goal.
See all again for the next crawl!

SawasDee ka P'Asnee,

Fantastic sketches. I can see why you fell in love with the Rahange Market charm. I agree that it is the people that make the place special. I love your sketch of the Barber chair, reminding me of the old town that my grandpa used to live too. The roof sketch is also very interesting. All in all, great outcome and warm memory. I hope to sketch with you and the group next time ka.
