Hey all,
Sorry I missed the last one.
Any ideas for this time? I'd like to suggest Meridian Playground in Wallingford. It's a very active park for kids, and it's right next to the beautiful historic Good Shepherd Center, which is also home to Seattle Tilth and their fantastic demonstration gardens.
The playground is at Meridian and 50th. There's a Tulley's Coffee at Meridian and 45th.

As it turns out, I can't attend this time. I'll be out of town. I hope the rest of you meet, and keep the momentum going!

Re: Seattle, Washington, USA
Hi Leo, I sent you an email about our Seattle sketch group a while back but never heard from you. Perhaps I had the wrong email address. Anyhow, we've got a sketch group going and two crawls under our belt already. We're doing the Sept. 19 World Wide Sketchcrawl at the Ballard Locks. Stop by our blog (http://urbansketchers-seattle.blogspot.com/) for more info.
Any other Seattle sketchers out there? We hope to see you at the Locks!
cheers,
gabi

Seattle Sketchers and 24th World Wide SketchCrawl -- here is the plan! SketchCrawling at the Ballard Locks (gardens! boats! water! salmon! sea lions! who knows what we'll find?!?).
Gabi has proposed meeting at 9.30 a.m. at the Lockspot Cafe. He says, "I know, I keep moving the time earlier! But this way we can hopefully start drawing by 10 a.m. after all the meeting and greeting."

Hi Gabi,
I'm planning to stop in for the crawl at the Locks and will be at the Lockspot at 9:30... I have to be at Greenlake at 1 for a class, but thought I could meet some of you and sketch a bit too in the morning.
Looking forward to it!

Hi everyone! Looking forward to seeing (some of) you at the locks, missing those who won't be there. Have just become organizer of another walkabout art meetup group, Seattle Plein Air: will invite them to join Sketchcrawl too!
BTW, earlier the better for some of us! We like that cool morning air!! Yay!

Hi Gabi,
Thanks for organizing this. In case I'm late (over-slept), what number should I reach you by? Looking forward to the crawl.

Leo, I like the Meridian Park/Good Shepherd Center idea. I haven't been there for quite awhile; where is the best place to meet? (my first post) - Carol

Hi All,
Just wondering what you do when it's raining hard like it is right now in Kenmore, and I'm assuming over at the locks? Do you still gather and hunker down under umbrellas or do you have an alternate indoor meet?
