We are new to SketchCrawl but had a half-dozen participate, which I think is a good turnout. I'm not sure if we are supposed to post together or separately, but I assume everyone will post each of their pieces here as a reply... Here's my effort...

lovely images! Especially love your animals, as we went to the zoo here in Seattle too and I struggled to draw them as they wiggled all day. Your coloration is fantastic!

Re: Tyler, Texas [RESULTS]
Very hot day in Texas, but we managed to spend a little time at the zoo. Then we found a nice cool place to sit and have lunch and a tall glass of ice tea. We spent the afternoon sketching the people around us. Here are a few of mine.
I thought I knew how to post these photos, but it doesn't seem to work for me this morning.
Here is my blog that they are posted on. http://wilderartist.blogspot.com
Okay, now I got it. Thanks Debbie!

Very nice work, I especially like the elephant and the bird (is that an ibis?). You also have my sympathies on the heat - I bailed on the sketch crawl in New Orleans for that very reason.

I was complaining about the heat in Denver -- I know better than to compare with TX! Congratulations on getting out there, and six people is a huge turnout, compared to my usual solo outings here in Denver (there were three of us yesterday, though!).
Nice postings. You do a very good job with animals.

Enjoyed seeing your sketches. You're off to a good start in Tyler with 6!
We decided to work indoors, here in Bryan/College Station, because of the heat. Just found a couple of restaurants, and a big window to look through!

Glad to see you braved the heat!
Debbie - Love the farmer's market sketch and your animals, especially the bird!!!
Wilderartist - Good group of sketches. I wish the images were a little larger.
