Here we go again!

I haven't being able to assist to the last ones, so I think that I will submit whatever I sketch this day, whenever I will be (in Sydney, I mean).

I will suggest for this time Bondi, as in winter is less people on the beach...

I'd rather go somewhere more appropriate to the weather. The beach in winter is too cold for me.
Maybe Eveleigh Markets. There are the markets and also lovely old buildings.

Hello I will be be there, whereever we decide. - somewhere with shelter and coffee shops - just in case the winter weather continues.

Suggestions from me - Chinatown, Syndey University, in and around the Rocks ? Everleigh markets would be good too. I will try and add some more suggestions over the next week.

Hi Everyone,

I am in for this sketchcrawl – had to do it solo last two so really looking forward to being part of the Sydney team this time.

I just had a look at the Eveleigh Markets website and it looks great

.... Good food, undercover and lots of things to draw (food, people, buildings)

So I am very interested to go there.

Hi there
Eveleigh Markets would be good. I'll be there.
Maybe we can also take in this exhibition of the art work of homeless people. It's the last day

Never really been to Eveleigh before...... are there places you can sit and sketch? It looks pretty full on and packed to me, although I'm a lot more keen on this since it's under cover.

10AM macdonald town station sounds pretty logical but....... if someone who's been there can actually suggest a good and easy spot to find, please do. :?

*edit* damn... I realised I have a party all night friday night... possibly may not be able to attend afterall... dag nabbits. I've created the facebook event though! Just incase if people want to try and get to know someone else who is going and exchange mobile numbers so you can find each other. =)

I've also finally updated the blog... http://sketchcrawlsydney.blogspot.com/

Sorry about my tardiness...

HI

i have just been to Eveleigh Markets with Sydney Sketch Group . It's a great place to sketch as there are lots of buildings and people to sketch and open spaces as well. The markets are on every Saturday from 8-1 and are held undercover in the yards. There is also a separate indoor area inthe Carriageworks that you walk into. It was not really crowded at all and we all found different places to sketch before meeting up for a coffee. Of course the weather would change things as we would be heading for cover then !

MEETING POINT : Best place to meet will be at the bottom of the main stairs that lead down into the Eveleigh markets - There is a big open space as well as undercover. I will be there from 10(probably before) and will ook out for people with sketchbooks! If anyone wants to contact me offline I can give you my mobile number in case you are unsure of where to meet.

A few of the people at this morning sketching were very keen to come along. I look forward to seeing you all there.

I've posted the details of the meeting location on the facebook group, Alissa. I won't be there but hopefully everyone will be able to find each other. ^^

Have fun!

Hi

Hope to see you there. But I am not sure if we will still be around at 4. The markets all pack up at 1pm. We can still stay around and draw buildings, but I can't guarantee how long anyone will stay.
