Regarding a place to meet: does anybody know if renovation works on Strudlhofstiege have finished? Might be a cool place to meet either way, with Liechtensteinpark and -museum nearby, and the Donaukanal within a few minutes walking distance. Just a suggestion though, I know it's a bit inconvenient to reach by metro.

hab noch immer keine ahnung wo wir hin könnten, bin aber für alles offen!.... nur nicht zu teuer! Schönbrunn gefällt mir gut, innen und außen, oder eben zum basilisken! oder zur donau?!

Hi,
I visited Strudelhofstiege last weekend, it's still a construction site and renovation works are supposed to be completed in September 2009.
In Schönbrunn I would prefer the Roman Ruin or the Obelisk Fountain. But how about Donauinsel (Danube Island) somewhere around Reichsbrücke (Mexikoplatz, Copa Cagrana, UNO City)?
I would be able to join till 13:00 or 14:00, because family and friends will visit some spectacular history event and a medieval market at the Museum of Military History in Vienna.
