Zoo sounds very good as does the Fishermen's Terminal. I'd be happy with either. There may be other ideas. Let's see what "the group" sends to the top. Look forward to sharing the day with all of you, wherever it will be.

I vote for the zoo. I want to draw an elephant and the last time I was at fisherman's terminal there wasn't a pachyderm to be seen anywhere. I suppose they could have been hiding, or out fishing that day, but I still think the zoo would be my best bet.

Hey Beth just so there is no confusion on exactly where to meet Which entrance is the main one? I know of three different entrances at woodland park zoo, South, North and West. I'm not sure if they have an east? Anyways which is the one we should meet?

Hey Seattle SketchCrawlers, how about meeting in the Woodland Park Zoo Rose Garden, adjacent to the zoo ticketing gates on the south side of the zoo? It's prettier than hanging out by the gates! http://www.zoo.org/zoo_info/rosegarden/rosegarden.html

The Woodland Park Rose Garden is near the main entrance on the south side of the Woodland Park Zoo: walk north through the parking lot at N. 50th and Fremont Avenue North to the ticketing gates, look to your right (east) to the rose garden. Sorry I didn't answer, Josh, my "subscription" to Sketchcrawl posts seems to have gone missing. I didn't even know there was more than one entrance! Until Teresa emailed me through my blog I didn't know there'd been any discussion here about this!

Glad you may join us on the 19th at Fishermen's Terminal too! Know I will be there for sure.

Tyler my dear, I love the idea of the Rose garden meetingplace/entrance. I will post it on Seattle Plein Air for those who plan to come -- until it changes again!
