Hello, hello!
My name is Paula.
April 11th will be my first time sketchcrawling.
I am looking forward to it
and all the sketches everyone shares!
It seems not many sketchers in sunny Florida yet, huh?
Actually, I am visiting Florida now and I live in the New Jersey/New York City area.
But anyway, I plan to sketch in the relaxing area of Galleria of Fort Lauderdale,
near the beach and along Sunrise boulevard.
Happy sketching everyone!

Here are my results!!
<<Note: I decided to stay at my mom's home rather than venture out to the Galleria today. But I do intend to go to the Galleria to sketch and paint a day this week...I'll post my result in other part of the forum when I do.>>
This is a tree in the parking lot outside of my mom's home.
Duckie!! I was so thankful and excited when this small group of ducks entered the scene. Something new and interesting to draw!
I was so pleased with how calm they were. I walked right up to them and instead of running away in fear they went about their business as usual.
a nearby fire hydrant which I thought had some character. he, he~bright yellow fire hydrants-only in Florida. ^^
Did I mention how pleased I was with these peaceful ducks? ^^
I tried painting a watercolor without the initial pen sketch. This is how I first learned to paint watercolor. Here I was trying to capture a likeness of my Mom holding a cup of coffee. Unfortunately, I ran out of space for her feet.
That’s all folks!! This was fun and good exercise for me. I look forward to visiting the Galleria of Fort Lauderdale in a couple days and doing more watercolors!!
Thank You so much!!

Hi Paula-chan,
WOW! very nice color! I feel sunlight at Florida.
I like "street" and "Duckie". It's very comical. and I think a woman's mood is good!
