Sydney, Australia

Is it down to me to start a discussion. Let me just open the map and throw a pencil at it. Darn missed entirely... Again... That's better, darn we've been there. Try again... That's interesting Gladesville Mental Hospital. Nah, that's not so good - no scenic areas to write home about. We could try closer to the city, although I think we have been to Darling Harbour and the Bridge. Maybe the Zoo. But does anyone have a more interesting place in mind?

Ahah The Sketch Club seems to feel Cockatoo Island might be the way to go. There are regular ferry rides to the island and plenty of things to sketch - machinery, buildings, city highlights etc.

That'd be interesting! You'll have to let me know where to go!

Sorry I've been off the radar. Still pretty busy. :problem:

Hi,
There seems to be 9 of the Sydney Meetup group going to Cockatoo Island and I'm one of them.
I missed the last sketchcrawl there and this time I don't intend to miss out.
