I haven't participated in any of the Sketch Crawls up until now, but I do plan to get out for this next one. Is there anyone else in New Orleans who would like to join me? Any thoughts on a location? The French Quarter would seem to be the obvious choice and might be the best spot for our first time out, although there are plenty of interesting places to draw all over the city. Hope to see a few of you in April.

There hasn't been much action on this thread, but I still haven't given up hope that there might be one or two people from New Orleans who will show up next Saturday. I think the French Quarter is probably the best spot for our first time out, so anyone who wants to join in can meet me on the courthouse steps across the street from Brennan's (417 Royal St) at 10:00am. I'll be wearing a brown hat and fiddling with my sketchbook. Here's hoping a few other New Orleanians want to come out for a day of sketching, possibly followed by a trip to the Pirate's Alley Cafe for to look over our work and share a drink or two.
