Hi, I'm new to sketchcrawl and unfortunately wasn't able to sketch all day, I did manage one sketch of my dog, Jessie, who was looking at me from her doggie bed as I drew her from my attic ladder. jfujii

Here are the sketches from The Americana. You can go to my blog for more detailed explanation about the sketches at http://shihonakaza.blogspot.com/2009/01 ... brand.html.

I need help on how to line up multiple images properly inside a Blogger post, so hope they show up in the order that appears on the blog :?

Hi Everyone,
Wow...I am amazed & inspired by all the BEAUTIFUL work I've seen posted so far! This is my first time participating in the SketchCrawl, and I'm looking forward to many more.

Below are my sketches...the first two are from the Chinese Gardens at the Huntington in Pasadena, and the last one is from Casa Bianca in "Eagle Rock"...didn't quite make it to the Americana this time, but hope to catch the LA Crawlers at the next one:

I love your colors Alina! My fav is the last one where the woman in red is sitting.

Cre8tive mark - You colors are great and I love your style!

Americanninjax- I like the study of faces and facial expressions. It felt like I can see the emotion in their faces.

viviannguyen- nice watercolors!

shihon- The first drawing is my fav esp. because it captured the building's essence.
