I went out on my sketchcrawl alone. I drove around for quite some time before finding something I wanted to draw. I finally settled on the local Country Club. I don't belong so don't tell. I sat in my car in the parking lot and sketched the beautiful trees and bushes that are the landscaping.

After the country club, I needed to buy some groceries so went to Green Frog Market. I was thirsty so picked up a soda and sat inside the eating area of the deli. Here I sketched the wall with the plants for sale peeping over and the deli case.

All my sketches were done in my Moleskine Sketchbook with a Prismacolor Artist Pen. I wish I had taken the time to put some color in.

Sorry for the URLs. I couldn't figure out how to insert the images. this is about my 10th sketchcrawl. I posted the first one but then had trouble getting into the site so stopped uploading my sketches. Instead I posted them on the Wetcanvas site in the Artwork from Life forum. Today I resigned up so that I can "officially" participate from now on.

Good to see your sketches made it onto the official site, Jeanne. My fave is still the palm trees.

Jeanne, it is good to see you finally post here. I am a newbie here too. I also not used to post image here and has similar image uploading problem too.

Great sketch of the palm and lively deli section. One day we will be sketching together.

Looks like you had a good day of sketching!
If you need some help on how to post your work, I'll be glad to try to help. I finally figured it out yesterday. I was so proud of myself! It only took me a couple of days this time where, the first time, it took me weeks of trying before I could get my pictures on.
I'm not a computer or tech person, so I need things to be really simple!
I posted mine under Bryan/CS/Brazos Valley/ Pt. Lavaca, Texas.
