Had such a FABULOUS time drawing on Saturday!!!! A group of us met up at the corner of 24th and Portrero and crawled west. By 4:30 I still had only made it to Folsom Street. So much to draw!!!! I was so drained my hand couldn't keep up with my eyes but my eyes kept seeing pictures. I'll be going back again soon...

I'm trying to post images as per the directions from How to Share Images but no luck. I can however seem to take you to Flickr which is where my drawings are posted so maybe some of you will follow the link and see them there.

Wonderful seeing all the drawings posted, great to see the same things done by different artists and seeing the difference in materials. Sincerely looking forward to 21 now!

What a great day for a sketchcrawl! Lots of nice work posted. I like seeing different points of view on the same subjects. Here's the view outside of Que Tal.

Justin, Jason C., and Larry, and I headed up 24th St. and happened upon the Noe Valley Harvest Festival. Here is the band Playdate finishing up their set just before the dog costume contest. Devil Dog here didn't win, but he did manage to hold reletively still for a moment. The other dog here was not competing, just enjoying the show. I ran into the scarecrow on stilts again later and he said he saw lots of us with sketchbooks. Here's a view on the pie-eating contest (three minutes, no hands, please), featuring the winner, Frank.

Farther up the street is Eat Toast.

Here's Justin outside of Eat Toast, and the same two dogs that Jason drew. Finally, here are the rest of the crawlers exchanging books at the end of the day at Muddy's.

See you all at the next one!

Did anyone manage to take any photos? Thanks.

enrico - great street corner sketches. That restaurant had great textures.

irene - nice marker work. I like the colors on the 4th one.

jason - Busted! You totally sketched me sketching in that 2nd page  Great line work.

dcolivier - that's a nice full page sketch. I must have passed that corner several times!

gary - I like your 2 page spreads. Eat Toast is a fantastic point of view.

So much beautiful work! Mine was an odd sort of crawl, I managed to miss everyone by a few blocks, ending up at Philz

Here's one of the characters I encountered there:
