Greetings,
While I had planned to sketch with the group in San Francisco, I decided to stay local and instead went sketchcrawling with my dog - Quite the challenge, he loved the idea but was too eager to smell here and there and mark the territory, etc.
This first sketch is of one of the many streets of Santa Rosa, CA
materials: micron pen & Stratmore Sketch 400 series notebook, student watercolors, waterpen
Here he is..... trying to figure out the best spot for the next sketch.
Here is the second sketch, also using a micron pen.. didn't get a chance to color it, quite the challenge when the little guy keeps pulling the leash to go elsewhere, next time I'll take some cookies with me.
It was a great day!

seems to me the better way you did, marking your territory with beautiful sketches and smelling the most interesting spots here and there!Quite the challenge, he loved the idea but was too eager to smell here and there and mark the territory, etc.
thanks for sharing, Gustavo
btw... what is the trick on helping the blogspot-posters? Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't?
