Hey!

I think Enrico mentioned on his blog that it'll be on "Saturday OCTOBER 25th!!"
The sketch crawls that I have attended in the past have been pretty small (3-6 people) but given there is still a bit of time until the next one, maybe we could invite lots of others? We could set meeting points around the CBD in advance so people can leave and rejoin the group through out the day. After the crawl we could meet at restaurant to swap sketchbooks?

YAY! Totally, I'll be shouting it from some virtual rooftops for us! We need at least 10 people I think to make it a fun crawl. Nice to meet you to mysterious mish mash man;-)

I'm up for it too.
I was thinking of maybe putting a few flyers up at art shops in my area - goodness knows I'm in them enough.

Hi everyone

I just heard about this via a forum post: http://www.redbubble.com/melbourne-art-writing/forums/147/topics/23687-sketch-crawl

Sounds like a fun idea. I've put it in my calendar and look forward to meeting you on the day.

I heard about it just in time! Sounds very exciting, and will definitely be there. I've also blogged about it on http://www.taccolina.com to see if anyone else wants to have a go.

See you there.

Ok here is the proposed meet up points and approximate times.

I have adjusted this from the original a little just because of the expected temperature on Saturday.

Of course you don't need to stick to this! create your own route and let us know what you see!

Beginning at ...
10am - State Library of Victoria
(Cnr Swanston & Latrobe sts)
Look out for Architecture, Ned Kelly, Statues, Trams, People!

then perhaps some lunch at ...
12noon - Victoria Markets (Cnr Elisabeth & Victoria Sts)
Look out for Food, Buskers, Spruikers, Animals.

need a change of scene? onto...
1.30pm - Bourke St Mall (Cnr Bourke & Elisabeth)
Look out for Buskers, Shoppers, Trams, Architecture.

And then wander though some of Melbourne’s laneways...
Maybe grab a coffee or check out the zines at Sticky in the Degraves St subway before making your way to...

2.30pm - Federation Square
Get cool at the NGV, Look out for that big train station and the large public space across the road, rowers on the yarra,

And then the strong of constitution may continue onto Southbank or Chinatown to round out your day!

If you get lost and want to re-group call Janice on 0404 240 602
