New York City

Post by Alisa »

I've been having trouble logging in to the forums, but I guess no one else has made plans for NYC yet!

To celebrate the start of summmer, let's draw in Central Park! There's always a lot of good people watching and also shade near the Mall, pond and terrace near 72nd St.

Let's meet at the Bethesda Fountain at 11:30
It's around 72nd St in the center of the park.

Also, the boat pond is nearby which may be fun to draw at. http://www.centralpark.com/pages/attrac ... water.html

The conservatory garden is always beautiful, but may be too hot depending on the weather that day. (5th Ave and 105th St.) http://www.centralpark.com/pages/attrac ... arden.html

I'll be spreading the word for Sketchcrawl at the MoCCA art festival in the city this weekend, so hope to see some new faces in addition to the regulars!

I bet you'd get a big response to the Sketchcrawl if someone put a little poster up at the Art Students League bulletin Board and at the National Academy.
