The biennale is hosting artist talks on Cockatoo Island, and will provide free ferries from Pier2/3 and Circ Key.

We can meet in The Rocks, and travel across to the Is. There should be a wide variety of interesting subject matter there, plus you can attend the artist talks if you like (its all a bit highbrow to me, but I'm looking forward to going on a boat).

That sounds like a great idea. I have not been to Cockatoo Island, so it will be a great excuse to visit. Is everyone else ok with this - or have other suggestions?

I will probably go over in the morning and we can decide on a time and place for meeting in the next week!

Ahh!I was really up for sketch crawl this time,but I have to work this saturday I'm heading to Cockatoo Island anyway on wednesday for William Kentridge lecture,so maybe I will do quickie early solo sketch crawl.But count me in next round!

It's only a few days to go now. As there are no other suggestions, shall we meet at Cockatoo Island on saturday to sketchcrawl around? The weather may guide our choices as it appears asa though it is going to be a bit gloomy and damp.

Can anyone suggest a time and place to meet? I will be heading out ealry, but there is always a lot to do aorund Cicrular Quay anyway.

Hello I hope that everyone can still make it to Sketchcrawl tomorrow. The free ferries (for the Biennale) leave at the Commissioners Steps, near the MCA at Circular Quay hourly from 9.45.

I am going to catch the 9.45 ferry over and will probably be at Circular Quay sketching before that. If you plan on going and would like to meet up just send me a PM (personal message we can swap mobile phone numbers etc)
