Need advice on how to handle a crowd

Post by skibum »

This is the first time I have organized a sketchcrawl. There are more than 90 views of the listing and local art instructors and the local gallery have been promoting this event. How does one organize a crowd? Just break into groups? Has anyone discovered a good way to do this?

Hope you have a good turnout. After a brief introduction and announcing a time to re-group, I suggest that sketchers find a view/building that appeals to them and settle in. Most wander off and find their 'spot'. Some will attach themselves and create a small group. Some will go to several spots. I leave it unstructured and it seems to work out. Good Luck!
