Sapporo / Japan [RESULT]

Post by PaintMonster »

Hi everybody!!
Sapporo SC was done.

today was bad weather here!
SNOW!! super COLD!!
then, we did move to Subway station of underground.

Image

This is Mister Donut also that is the meeting spot.
Today is not good weather, but 3 member came today!
Image

Here is a meeting place at the subway Odori station.
This place is the best place to sketch people.
Because waiting people do not move for about three minutes. hahaha

Image

We stayed in one place.
Because the model changes places at intervals of about three minutes.
Therefore, we did not have to reshuffle it.

i like a lot these sketches!
it's so hard to draw people (that keep moving constantly). i drew buildings mostly because the few people i tried to sketck was terrible! XD

Wonderful to see the results from Sapporo! Great photos and it was like making a journey with you through the photos. Love the sketches and thanks for sharing!
So great to see what you saw on the same day that we were out sketching on.
We probably had the same type of weather like you.

Thank you for all of the great photos and your fabulous sketches. Japan has always interested me and it is really good to see photos of the people there living their everyday lives! And there is a lot more to SC than meets the eye.(Sorry, I had to say it....) The sketches are wonderful, full of joy I think. So glad I joined.....when's the next one, enrico? :D
When in doubt, just take the next small step.

"enjoy!"

I really did, Marty! Thank you for sharing the whole photographically-illustrated story! I like your idea of "reshuffeling" the models - I had that too, most of my crawl ;-) will post later ... being busy reshuffeling posts and comments

Thank you so much for sharing. It's wonderful to be a part of such an amazing event! While you were dealing with snow, we were dealing with the heat!

So interesting photos and great sketches! I specially liked nr 3, so well captured and with such nice foot language (can you say that?) The girl is so cute, the way you have drawn her.
It's so nice seeing pictures from Japan. I have been travelling there for 5 weeks once, all over Japan, but not Sapporo though. I loved every minute :D

I love your sketches, Paintmonster. I fell for the girl with big shoes! She looks like coming from another century, totally lost in a subway.
Your photos really show the feeling of the place.

Thanks for all your comments to our results from Nora-Sweden. We had a bit of Japan there too, as Christina cooked a wonderful japanese meal. As you can see at our photos some of us eat with sticks.

Thanks.
I always enjoy your drawings and your photographs. There are so many places in the world I would like to visit. Sketchcrawl takes me part way there.
