Corvallis - Oregon - USA [RESULTS]

Post by creativedialog »

Another cold, wet, snowy, sunny day in Oregon (all in one day, at least once). Nonetheless four of us participated (Carol, Sue, Harold and Mike). We met at the Benton County Historical Society Museum in Philomath.
Some of us began sketching earlier, as you can see from my first sketch which I thought was original until I was informed that someone else had the same idea long ago. I call it "first things first"...

The next images were of the interior of the museum:

Finally after we had lunch I decided to sketch the pugs, Ping and Pong:

-- nice story, Mike, and great POVs ;-)

I like how the sketches follow your baseline of narratives ;-)

how do i find out where and when the next one is going to be held in an area that i am traveling to? I will be in Corvalis in June for a week. Washington State for September and probably McMinnville Oregon for July and August. On the user groups in only see germany, los angeles, and san francisco for groups to join. please steer me in the right direction. i can't get the how to participate file to open even though i have registered and completed the profile and went to the link in my email confirmation. thank you

First, dayadevi, we will be happy to have you join us at sketchcrawl 19. Just keep watching here to find our where and when.

As Mike has already said the weather was less than balmy. We stayed inside and still bundled up. Gotta get some of those gloves with the fingers cut out just for sketchcrawl. :-)

Here are a couple from yesterday.

There are a couple more but I'm having a hard time posting. I'll work on it.
I sometimes think there is nothing so delightful as drawing.
